My name is Geoffrey and as far as I remember, I’ve always loved to organize my stuff : each set of toys on it’s dedicated shelf; pen, papers and color pencil each in the right boxes; Magic:the Gathering cards classified by color and type; etc… But this worked for me only with things I really cared for and I was passionate about.
Problems came when I had to be successful with subjects of lesser interest to me. The more important the task the more troublesome it became for me, especially at school. In this case, I applied, without really knowing it, the Pareto rule : 20% of effort to get 80% of results.
With this background, when I started working, I figured out that some technique must exist to be productive with stuff you don’t like (or to be more productive with things that you like), that tools are here to organize your work, and your life and that you can always improve yourself.
As Voltaire used to say : “Le mieux est l’ennemi du bien” (The better is the enemy of the good). I’ll try to share with you my tips and tricks about productivity, organization, self improvement and life hack because everyone can learn to do more by working less, and in this way have more time to spend with people they love.
