I’m dad of two wonderful daughters of 3 and 6 years old. Unfortunately, I’ve forgotten a lot of important moments like when did they start walking, what were their first words, etc… More precisely, I remember some of the things, mostly feeling and approximate dates but most of the them are blur.

I’m trying to keep a personal diary, and this should be the perfect tool to avoid forgetting the details of all these moments. But I’m not able to write on a regular basis (at least not on a daily basis) because I’m lazy, or because I think that I always have something better to do. So I can’t rely on this diary to be my memory.

When your mind is full, it’s hard to concentrate, difficult to stay focused. And to achieve a high level of productivity, having a single thing to remember can be a breaker. In addition, having too much stuff in mind is the best way to forget most of them.

That’s a big reason to empty your mind by writing stuff down, or taking voice memo.
